2K Hotspring Campsite is a private campsite in an oil palm estate on Jalan Kampung Ulu Kalong, Hulu Yam Bharu, in the Batang Kali area of Hulu Selangor. Its draw is three natural pools fed by spring and underground water: two hot, one cold.

It suits campers with their own gear who want a soak in the evening and morning. It is not set up as a day-trip hot spring park. Details below come from one camping blog review, the owners' Google Maps listing and visitor reviews up to August 2026.

The pools

There are three natural pools. The smaller hot pool is the warmest, the larger one is closer to lukewarm, and the third is cold. No temperatures have been published. The owners' Google Maps listing says the hot pools are free for campers to use.

The pools are drained for weekly maintenance. A November 2025 visitor found them empty, and the owners replied that people should call before coming.

Campers say the hottest pool is high in zinc and that soaking helped with eczema and rashes. These are personal accounts; we found no water test for this site. The nearest lab data is a 2013 UiTM measurement of 55.8°C at the Hulu Yam spring nearby, which also sits in oil palm estate land; whether 2K draws on the same source is not confirmed. See our Hulu Yam hot spring page.

Camping

The site is split into zones at different heights; zone B1 fits about eight large tents. You can park beside your tent. Ask the owners for a higher zone, which drains better in rain. Each zone has a tap, and piped spring water is used for showering and washing up. Toilets are 100–200 m from some zones. Lighting is minimal, so bring lanterns. The owners' dogs roam the site.

The owners' listing mentions 16 bathrooms and toilets, about 263 acres to walk or cycle, streams running through the site, and a fruit orchard and fish farm campers can visit. A December 2025 reviewer camping on a weekday shared the site with one other group and found it almost pitch dark at night, good for stars, with toilets and sinks in acceptable shape for a semi-wild site. A November 2025 reviewer found the toilets poorly kept, so reports vary. An August 2026 reviewer said GrabFood delivers to the campsite.

Is it open?

Yes, as of mid-2026. In May 2026 a walk-in visitor found the campsite suddenly shut and wrote that it was over a missing licence or permit. Reviews from June to August 2026, including an owner reply in August, show it operating again. Call the number on the Google Maps listing before driving out.

What we don't know

Camping fees, day-visit rules and opening hours are not published. Ask when you call.

Getting there

From Kuala Lumpur, drive via Rawang towards Batang Kali and follow signs to Hulu Yam Bharu (Hulu Yam Lama junction). Turn onto Jalan Kampung Ulu Kalong and look for Holistay Forest Villa; the campsite is a few hundred metres from it. The 2K signs are small and easy to miss.

A normal car can manage the access road. The TAHAN review found mobile signal weak, while an August 2026 reviewer said mobile data worked fine, so download offline maps to be safe. Our map pin is the campsite's Google Maps location, not necessarily the gate or the pools.
