The pools
The main pools are the Kolam Puteh (white pool) and the Kolam Jepun (Japanese-style pool). There are also enclosed private bathing rooms, a VIP room and a larger private pool that holds up to 10 people. The pools are smaller than at the bigger Perak parks.
The 1997 national survey by Samsudin and colleagues recorded the spring at 48°C at the surface, and a 2025 travel guide put the water at about 50 to 60°C. A 2017 USM study found its water contaminated by saltwater intrusion, one of three springs in that study (with Tanjung Didih and Gersik) to show this. We found no published mineral breakdown, so the water type is listed as unknown. The same study named Trong among the five best sites in the peninsula for future geothermal energy.
Facilities
A January 2025 listing mentions a large car park, toilets, changing rooms, food stalls and masseurs working by the pools. The Google Maps listing, run by the operator, files it under foot bath and thermal baths.
Google Maps reviews from 2026 paint a basic but working place. An April 2026 reviewer found the changing rooms and toilets not very clean but the water properly hot, with a way to adjust the temperature to suit you. In March 2026 the woman running it said she had been there 26 years, and mentioned monkeys around the site and poor lighting at the entrance.
Costs and hours
A June 2026 reviewer paid RM4 for adults and RM3 for children; another in January 2026 paid RM5. That is up from RM2 in 2021. The private and VIP pools start from RM10. The Google Maps listing gives 9am–11pm daily. Older listings said 8am–midnight; a March 2026 group was allowed to stay until 10pm.
It opens every day except Hari Raya. The June 2026 reviewer said that if the gate looks shut when you arrive, call the number posted there; a 2025 visitor found a small side entrance where the attendant takes payment.
Getting there
