What to expect
The park has several hot pools at different temperatures, two children's pools, a foot soak and a small inflatable play park with slides. An August 2026 reviewer describes the hot pool as split into sections by temperature. The operator's Google listing pitches a Japanese-style hot soak, a "silica" bath, picnics in the garden at free picnic tables, and evening bathing. One online database of Malaysian hot springs lists the spring at 53.1°C, but does not say when or where it was measured, and pool temperatures and water chemistry are not published.
Opinions on upkeep are split. Several August and September 2026 Google reviewers call the pools clean, and one says it stays open late into the night. Others found the water unclean, or the hot spring area clean but the toilets not. Expect a simple village pool, not a resort; for private pools and rooms, Gadek Hot Spring, with a 56°C source, is about 10 km south-east in a straight line.
Food and facilities
Outside food and drinks are allowed, barbecues included, so most visitors make a picnic of it. An August 2026 reviewer also mentions stalls selling food beside the pools. Reviews mention a surau and toilets, and the owner's Google listing marks the parking, entrance and toilets as wheelchair accessible. We found no reliable information on changing rooms or showers.
Prices and hours
An August 2026 reviewer paid RM9 entry. Older listings give less: Tourism Melaka has two tiers, RM5 adult and RM2.50 child, and RM7 adult and RM5 child, and Wanderlog's summary of Google reviews says RM7 for all ages. We found no current child price, so bring RM9 a head and check at the counter.
The Google listing, which the operator manages, shows the pools open 24 hours every day, matching Tourism Melaka. If you plan to arrive after midnight, call first.
Getting there
The pools are at Lot PT1370, Batu 22, Jalan Air Panas, Cherana Puteh, 78000 Alor Gajah. Tourism Melaka puts them about 5 minutes from the Simpang Ampat toll plaza, so drivers from Kuala Lumpur or Seremban can leave the North–South Expressway there.
Use the map pin on this page rather than searching by name, because the spelling varies (Cherana, Cerana, Puteh, Putih). We found no bus route that stops at the pools; drive or take an e-hailing car from Alor Gajah town or Melaka city.
